Need a perfect size.....(girls only)...help me plss?

I'm about to set my vacation to my favorite island st. martins with lot of my friends. in that island, the normal dress code is only string/micro bikini (all girls wear) which I've never tried before. what's the main difference of the measurement between normal and string bottom? my waist is 29", hips 35". should i buy the top smaller to maintain the equality/similarity to the bottom? (NB: 34-32-34) and a sarong? lastly, i wanna ask which color is preferable in white sandy beach? (my skin is Brazilian white and the hair is black) pls be in mind I'm not gonna be in nude/topless beach...!
